Weigh-Screw Feeder

The Weigh-screw method eliminates the headroom and refill requirements associated with a conventional LIW feeder, and eliminates spillage and maintenance problems associated with a conventional weighbelt feeder.

The frame pivot is centered under the conveyor inlet and eliminates weighing inaccuracy from silo head-height loading. A welded torsion-spring tare adjusting mechanism is used to balance the dead load of front or rear mounted drive systems.

The control system integrates the load cell and speed inputs to provide instantaneous rate and totalized amounts.
