Melfi Technologies has developed a full line of counterbalance scales that are specified to perfectly fit both the feeder and application.
The top cover and upper frame is factory predrilled to match the feeder mounting bolt pattern. The lower frame is predrilled to match your existing scale foot mounting bolt pattern.
Self-contained weighing module is optimized for use in repeated shock-loading applications where fast weighing and settling times are required. The fluid damping system allows the loadcell to be specified in applications that previously required LVDT or digital measuring devices.
The loadcell includes a user-adjustable tare load
cancellation feature to negate the dead load weight of the volumetric metering feeder. Tare offset is factory set but may be adjusted by the end user. This feature enables the use of a lower capacity load cell resulting in superior weighing with higher signal, lower noise and higher stability.

Overload Protection
The loadcell is equipped with integral overload stops to protect from positive (push), negative (pull) and twisting loads. The individual limit stops are factory adjusted per each specific application. Environmental Protection The loadcell is completely enclosed in a rugged, electroless nickel plated aluminum or optional stainless steel housing to withstand splashing.
